The
VK Model Aircraft Line...

Since 1938, VK Model
Aircraft has been a leader in offering outstanding quality at an
affordable price. When looking for a line to introduce the
modeler to World War One Scale, VK was the obvious choice.
All four models are two-inch to the foot (1/6th scale), a scale that is
popular for ease of transport and limited building space.
These
models represent an outstanding value for the scale enthusiast.
Each comes complete with all hardware, finished cowl, rolled plans
and manual. If you are considering the move to WWI Scale, VK
Line kits are a great place to start.
The woods and veneers
are the same materials used in the Proctor line. VK also
makes extensive use of our hardware, in particular the operable
turnbuckles and stainless-steel rigging cables. Three sheets
of rolled plans, with construction manual, guide you through the
project. The fully finished ABS cowl adds the finishing
touch.
One of the pleasures
of building a scale vintage aircraft is the history lesson you get
at no extra charge. Few aircraft of the era have more
history than the four that VK has chosen to model.
